Highlights of this event include:

"R22 Wall Assemblies and Basic Building Science Principles" by Lorne Ricketts, MASc, EIT, RDH Building Engineer
  • The R22 level of thermal performance is required by the Vancouver Building By-Law. Lorne will discuss the various assemblies which comply with this requirement without compromising other aspects of building enclosure performance such as moisture management, air leakage and durability.
"Sloped Roof Design in High Snow Load Climates" by Luke King, M.Eng, EIT, RDH Building Engineering
  • Luke King along with Marcus Dell have reviewed numerous sloped roof projects in high snow load climates. There are numerous considerations which are commonly overlooked during the design of sloped roof assemblies in high snow load climates. Several case studies will be presented by Luke and potential solutions discussed.
